Identity Theft Prevention and Educational Center Online information and libraries can help an employee and their family take preventative steps in protecting their identity. Prevention starts with first understanding what ID theft is and how someone could steal your identity. Learn how to protect yourself and your family.
Access to Identity Theft Coaches
In the event that an employee believes that their identity has been compromised, they have access to ID Theft Coaches that will walk them through the recovery process if necessary. Coaches provide connections to information, FTC Affidavits, referrals for legal representation if needed, assessments and resources. This benefit can include up to three 30 minute or 1 hour telephone consultations with an Identity Theft Coach.
Access to Local Practicing Attorneys
If you become a victim of ID Theft, and an ID Theft Coach discovers it necessary for the assistance of an attorney; you will be referred to a local practicing network attorney that has experience in these types of issues. You will receive up to a thirty minute consultation and 25% off the attorney’s hourly rate if an hourly rate is quoted.
